«Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation will provide the Government with the program of modernization of electric energy industry,» - declared on Thursday the Minister of Energy Alexander Novak at International Economic Forum in Saint-Petersburg. Novak said that we heired rundown equipment from soviet times, and issues of modernization of basic funds and attraction of new innovation technologies are current. But he announced the progress in it. «Generating capacities from both state and private companies are involved. During last three years 2,7 trillion  RUB has been invested into the industry, including 600 billion RUB of private investments», - said Novak.
