One of the largest industrial constructions of the last ten years was finished in September 2014 in Perm region. The biggest international concern E.ON put into operation new energy unit with capacity 425 MW at Yaiva GRES. The new station that successfully outputs capacity into the united energy system of Russia was built for three years. Nett efficiency of the new unit is 56,6 % that is one third higher than in average in the industry. This type of energy generating equipment is the most effective in heat generating industry in Russia. To provide non-stop operation of equipment of the unit JSC “EnergoFront” will supply reserve electric motor for different types of auxiliary equipment including the drive of centrifugal gas compressor with integrated drive type GT 050 T5D1 produced by Atlas Copco.
Electric motor MGF-710A (7700 кW, 6 кV, 1500 rpm) produced by WEG is completely adopted for the existing systems of the unit and agreed with the manufacturer of the mechanism. Besides, the solutions suggested by JSC “EnergoFront” provided significant budget savings of reserve stock of the unit.
